What do I do if one of your pipes gets clogged?
We recommend using pipe cleaner solutions found at most headshops.
How sturdy are your pipes?
Very sturdy! The natural materials we use are light in weight but are much less breakable than traditional glass and wood.
Your tagua pipes are beautiful, but they look like they might be hard to keep clean. Is tagua stain-resistant?
Yes, it is! Resin buildup does not stick to tagua the way it does glass or wood, so these pipes are actually very easy to clean.
Can I eat the Huayuro seeds or other grains used in some of the home good products?
No, DO NOT EAT! All seeds used in our products have been treated so they are not safe for consumption.
What Do We Sell?
Our specialty is handmade smoking pipes, crafted in Otavalo, Ecuador. Each pipe boasts a distinct design with intricately sculpted animal figures. We offer two exquisite designs: bamboo pipes and tocte-base pipes. These organic materials ensure that our pipes are both sustainable and eco-friendly, perfect for consumers who appreciate the harmony of nature and artistry.
How Do We Make The Pipes?
The artisan crafted the pipes by hand. The artisan creates the figurine with clay and paints it by hand. Each pipe is unique due to the materials varying in size, plus the hand of the artisan in each piece.
Where Do We Make Them?
Our smoking pipes are produced in the enchanting town of Otavalo, nestled within the Andes Mountains. These handmade artifacts are functional and an exquisite showcase of the vibrant cultural heritage that defines the Andean region.
