Scorpion Smoking Pipe with Glass

This scorpion smoking pipe is inspired by traditional art unique to the beautiful Andes's indigenous populace. The smoking pipe featured an intricately crafted scorpion sculpture sitting over a glass bottle and finished with carved and twined wooden patterns. The glass bottle at the center allows a see-through view of the smoke and provides a smooth smoking experience.

It’s the perfect addition to every smoker’s collection.

  • Materials: Tocte (Andean Walnut) for the base, glass, and a small nut for the pipe bowl.
  • The artisan crafted the scorpion by hand and painted it carefully.
  • No two pieces are the same.
  • Hand pipe height - approx. 2.5" to 3"; length: approx. 5".

The base of this piece is made out of a nut called TOCTE or Andean walnut, a relative of the commercial walnut eaten worldwide.

Tocte nut trees are now endangered because their wood is prized for carving and furniture-making. The trees have been highly depleted, and little has been done to replenish them. Finding uses for the actual nut provides the incentive to re-plant tocte nut trees and protect them once they bear fruit.
